To "Google it" is now part of everyday language, as it's become how most of us find what we want online.
Which raises a question; what's a website without SEO? Perhaps it could be likened to a beautiful city accessed only via a one-lane 4WD track. A great destination for the FEW who ever go there.
SEO is about getting your website higher on Google (and other search engines) for phrases people are using to find goods and services in your industry. The beauty of SEO is that, unlike an ad in the paper, you pay once and the benefit is ongoing. This is why more and more people are getting excited about how SEO can bring them new business.
Half the job with SEO is assessing where you are, what your market is, the likely role of SEO in that market, and then coming up with a plan of attack.
By doing the assessment first, it gives an opportunity to consider options before deciding what level of SEO is right for your situation. Because our assessment costs are 100% deducted from the cost of our SEO packages, they give you a low-risk, look before you leap, entry into this fascinating form of marketing.

There are two aspects to SEO. Optimising your content and link building (getting links to your site from other peoples sites). Our standard packages are based on optimising your content, which in many cases is sufficient to get good results. However, for industries where there is a lot of competition in the SEO space, link building can be needed to achieve good rankings. This is because search engines assign a measure of "power" to websites based on the number and quality of inbound links. So when there are clearly a number of sites competing for the same target phrase(s), this becomes a big factor in deciding the order that competing sites are shown in.
